Dr. John A. Call
President, Crisis Management
Consultants, Inc.
John A. Call, Ph.D., J.D., A.B.P.P.
is a forensic psychologist, an
attorney, and president of Crisis
Management Consultants, Inc. CMC,
Inc. is an association of
professionals that provides services
to corporate, government, and
educational clients seeking to
prevent and manage threats of
violence and terrorism as well as to
help manage the aftermath of actual
violent incidents.
Dr. Call is a Diplomate in
Forensic Psychology of the American
Board of Professional Psychology and
the American Board of Forensic
Psychology. He interned in the
United States Air Force, served in
the Strategic Air Command, and is a
member of the Society of Air Force
Psychologists. Dr. Call is trained
in crime scene reconstruction and
trained in hostage negotiations by
the FBI. Dr. Call consults on threat
assessment, employment issues,
and/or post-violence intervention
with numerous federal, state, law
enforcement, and professional
organizations.
In April 1995 Dr. Call was
nominated by the Governor of the
State of Oklahoma and confirmed by
the Oklahoma Senate as a Member of
the Board of Directors of the
Oklahoma Department of Mental Health
and Substance Abuse Services. As
such he has been instrumental in the
design and implementation of
America's first community mental
health response to a major terrorist
event. More recently Dr. Call has
participated in National Summits
sponsored by the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services regarding
America's response to terrorist
attack and is currently a member of
Oklahoma's Disaster Mental Health
Task Force.
