This activity has been arranged in accordance with the essential areas and policies of the Oklahoma State Medical Association (OSMA) through the joint sponsorship of the Institute of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Education and Training and the University of Central Oklahoma. The Institute of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Education and Training is accredited by the OSMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Institute for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Education and Training, through a joint sponsorship with the University of Central Oklahoma have worked together to approve continuing education credits for the 2008 National Campus Security Summit.

The Institute has approved 8.5 credit hours for social workers, certified alcohol and drug counselors, certified prevention specialists, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, licensed marital and family therapists, and law enforcement personnel attending this seminar.
