Lochner, Ph.D.

Oklahoma
Bruce Lochner, Ph.D. is the
Assistant Vice President for Student
Affairs and has served as Director
of the Student Counseling Center at
the University of Central Oklahoma
for the last nine years.
Dr. Lochner has presented at the
state and national level on issues
related to training mental health
professionals in suicide and
violence risk assessment. He was
appointed to the Counseling
Sub-committee of the Governor’s
Campus Life and Safety and Security
Task Force in 2007, and his thoughts
on campus mental health and violence
have been shared in print, radio,
and television media.
Dr. Lochner is a member of the
Association of University and
College Counseling Center Directors,
an Affiliate of the International
Psychoanalytic Association, and a
licensed psychologist in private
practice in Oklahoma City.
